WHO IS MARITRUSTME?
MariTrustMe is an epitome brand that he came up with for him to understand and conquer the fears that held him back from following in his purpose. The symbol of the rose represents not only love but reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety of a person or thing; confidence, new life, creation, prosperity and rising through the concrete. Like a rose, he rose through the concrete and understood that without him believing and trusting in his self and his intuition, he would fail. Trust to him means a firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something. This is the reasoning for him using the rose as a symbol and "Trust" "Me" being apart of his name. "Mari" is his childhood name short for his birth name, Jamari. He believes he can touch hearts, help people through his music and show them to TRUST in themselves and there will be nothing that can stop them from accomplishing anything they want.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR JOURNEY AS AN ARTIST SO FAR.
My journey as a music artist had been surreal. I remember when I first started, I was very young, doing talent shows in kindergarten, lip-syncing a verse from a Beyoncé and Little Flip song. I’m not going to lie, I don’t even think I was nervous back then. As kids, we don’t really care what other people criticize. As we get older we begin to care about those things, so, later on, I was subconscious about my talents because I didn’t feel like I was just as well as the next person. That still didn’t stop me from doing talent shows and trying to get my music off the ground. When I was 16 I started working on my first mixtape and it never came out because of the people I was working with, they didn’t believe in me. When I turned 20 I gave it a shot again, this time with the right people and it was history from there. I’ve been consistently dropping new music monthly while putting together a project I just put out 9.9.19 called 43VR2 while also running a 6 figure business and managing my investment. I knew I didn’t want to be a starving artist because I’ve starved all my life. It’s only right to shine a light on things people wouldn’t consider a “norm”. That’s why my music is healing while also giving you a piece of me and my story. So, all in all, it was definitely a journey. I wouldn’t change anything about it... I know big things are coming through. I just have to press forward and continues to put myself out there and network with the right people and keep my plan and desires backed with action. It’s going to happen by default.
LIKE YOU MENTIONED BEFORE, YOU’VE RECENTLY DROPPED YOUR 2ND EP FROM THE FIRST 43VR MAKING IT 43VR2, WHAT’S THE SIGNIFICANCE BEHIND THE SECOND ONE?
The first one was like I had something to prove about me being an artist. So 43VR2 was more so for growth and the next project will be for prosperity. Everything on my new EP is on a 432 frequency tone. I will let the viewers look up what that means.
DO YOU LIKE TO CONNECT SPIRITUALITY TO ALL THINGS YOU DO AND WHY?
Everything is spiritual. People just have to realize that we are all spiritual beings having a human experience. Your reality is just a reflection of what your mind projects. Why am I spiritual? it was a way of life passed down to me very young. It took me some time to understand and I’m still unfolding it all every day. There is always more than one way to heal. I’ve been to the lowest of low and now I live on the other side of fear which is prosperity. I choose to be happy and grateful because I want to vibrate on the frequency of the light I want to attract.
IS THERE ANY ADVICE FOR THOSE WANTING TO FOLLOW THEIR DREAMS AS AN ARTIST?
Like my grandpa said, you’re going to reach people who are speaking the same love language as you. Music is universal and if you stick with it, it will take you where you wanna go.

The next thing for Maritrustme is more visuals, more music and consistency and higher heights I’ve dreamed of since a little guy. Watching everything I manifest unfold and enjoying the journey.
