WHO IS ZEYLAN?
The name came from my mom...I don’t know where she got it from exactly, but it’s my middle name. I can do a lot! I'm very talented, and anything I put my mind to I accomplish it. As of right now, my craft is doing hair.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR JOURNEY AS A HAIRSTYLIST SO FAR.
My hairstylist journey to me felt long in 2016. I moved to South Carolina and started doing faux locs and then moved onto sew-ins and quick weaves in high school for money to go out with my friends. Then I stopped because I got a restaurant job when I graduated from college. I started doing hair part-time in my house, then I decided I was making more money and hated working at the place that I was at, so I went full time doing hair at home.
WOULD YOU CONSIDER DOING HAIR FOR THE LONGEVITY OF IT?
Yes, I would, but I really want to make an empire and just be the boss.
